Kickoff to a Greener Future!
This week, on November 27-28, we had the pleasure of gathering in the beautiful city of Turin, Italy for the GreenUS Kickoff Meeting, hosted by IUSTO University.
The GreenUS Project is dedicated to shaping a sustainable educational future by developing a Greening Curriculum Guidance to empower educators, policymakers, and practitioners. Together, we aim to equip learners and institutions with the skills and knowledge needed to address pressing environmental and societal challenges.
Over two inspiring days, partners came together to:
- Dive into plans for a literature review on greening practices
- Outline strategies to gather stakeholder insights and showcase impactful case studies
- Begin crafting a Green Curriculum Framework and a digital repository of resources
- Discuss the launch of an innovative micro-credential program for integrating sustainability into education
The kickoff was an incredible opportunity to align our vision and set the foundation for transformative actions. We are thrilled to embark on this journey and can’t wait to see the impact of our efforts!
